This candle gives off a complex mix of lovely scents. A dreamy beach vibe that captures the essence of sea air and sun drenched sands.
Sort of the feeling you get on a hot holiday but with the soft notes of dune grass and fresh pine needles mingled with delicate rose and lily petals on a base of weathered driftwood - the perfect escape.
One of my favorite oils from a very stringent supplier that really pays attention to the quality of their products. The tops of the candles are garnished with a few blue cornflower petals to complete the beachy vibe.
This is a creamy coconut/soy wax candle with whispering-wood-wicks in all of the vessels. There is a 4 ounce black tin or an 8 ounce black tin available or if you prefer a white tin there is a wood-wick white tin available also. The 8 ounce tins will burn for between 30-35 hours while the 4 ounce tin will burn for 15-18 hours.
There are a few things that you want to do in order to ensure you get the longest burn time from your candles. The initial burn should be until the wax pool reaches the edges of the vessel. The diametre of the vessel is a good guide for how long it should take to complete the wax pool - Ex: a 2 inch diametre should take 2 hours to make a full wax pool - a 3 inch diametre should take 3 hours etc.
Trim the wick down to 1/4 inch after each time you burn the candle. For wood wicks take off the uneven charred bits but a bit of black on the wick should remain. Also, keep your candle out of windy areas and as a general rule, burn your candle for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours each time.
The fragrance oil is phthalate and paraben free.
